Branson, MO, day 2

We took a train ride through the Ozark Mountains into Arkansas this afternoon and had dinner at MacFarlains, downhome cooking. We even had fried green tomatoes, which were pretty goood. Tonight we are going to the Elvis show.

the free town trolley

this is the Branson Express, which took us on a 2 hour ride through the Ozark Mountains. During the Christmas season, the run the Polar Express for families and pick up Santa.

Branson sits on a lake . Looking at a bridge spanning the lake, which is 80 miles long

This evening we went to The Tony Roi Elvis Show. He is one of the best impersonators. Phyllis Mancini would have really liked this show. He even took pictures with anyone in the audience who wanted to have their picture taken with Tony. He had the Elvis "moves."

Oh, look at Elvis move! The audience went wild listening to "Jail House Rock"

"Love Me Tender, Love Me Sweet..."

"All Shook Up"

  1. This looks so lovely. My husband and me have been looking at hotels in Branson, MO, and I think we should definitely stay there. The trolley and Express seem like such a fun thing to do. Is it better in the winter or summer?
