Kansas City Barbecue Competition

antique cars displayed at the barbecue

Pat and Maddalena really like this Studerbaker

Maddalena gave the rock wall a try or two.

Kansas City Barbecue Competition

The Kansas City Barbecue lasted 2 days, the 1st was a chilli competition and the 2nd day was the barbecue competition. We went to both. Here we are the 1st night checking out the vendors.

Note the wooden items next to Pat. The wood was beautiful.

Pasquale is seeing how fast and accurate he can pitch a baseball. On his 3rd try he got the ball in the mitt, shooting 45 mph and won a baseball hat.

Maddalena's 1st pitch was a bit wild - it went outside the netting into a chiili booth. They moved her up and she did well.

These are a couple of the racing cars that will be featured at the Havasu Racetrack.

Pasquale made it to the top of the rock wall while Maddalena enjoyed the arts and crafts section

I can't say enough about the American Dream Tour Co. This was the 2nd time we have used them.We left at 9:30 and got back at 7:30pm. They do a fabulous job sharing a wealth of information with us and keeping our attention, even the kids. They have taken journalists from National Geographic and the weather channel folks on tours. What can I say? I do know how to pick the best tour company around! I highly recommend them.
