We had a beautiful day for a ride. It was high 50's, low 60's. In fact, we even had to put on the air conditioner as the passive solar heat from the sun made the car pretty warm. We are staying just outside of Roanoke in Salem at the same hotel we stayed in the past 2 years. It sets up on top of a hill overlooking to city.
Tomorrow we will travel to Knoxville, TN. My cousin, Sis' daughter, Stephanie goes to the University of Tennessee there. We will meet up with her.
We are deviating from our itiniary that I published in my 1st blog. From Nashville, we will go to Little Rock & then to Fort Worth.
Hear that Portland got snow today. We left just in time.
